Coffee, chai and a place to settle in

Specialty coffee, proper chai, teas and iced drinks, with fresh pastries warmed every morning. Big study tables with outlets, a quiet reading nook, cushioned benches and a book club that meets in the shop.

The Novel Roast is the dream of a young Durham Region couple who wanted a place close to home where you could pick up a good book, sit with a good cup and lose track of time.
